What the star ratings mean
Five star rated restaurants are of exceptional all-round quality. They are few and far between. We have set the standards for ths class very high. Our reviewers can find almost nothing to criticise.
Four star restaurants are also of high quality and are recommended by the reviewers. Only the occasional imperfection separates these from the five star restaurants.
Three star rated restaurants will generally be of reasonable quality across the categories or have a more serious deficiency in a single category.
Two star ratings are given to restaurants with room for improvement in more than one category.
One star restaurants have, in the opinion of our reviewers, room for improvement across the board. In general, you'll be unlikely to see many one star restaurants reviewed on this site.
If you strongly disagree with one of our reviews, or would like to comment on a restaurant which is reviewed on this site, please e-mail reviewers@glasgowdining.co.uk
