Atmosphere

The basement setting gives Elliott's a welcome feel but it is well enough lit and painted that you do not feel like you have just entered a basement dungeon like some places. The seating is great especially the booths which are nice and private but still have a view of the rest of the place so that you do not feel like you are on your own. There are some massive booths which I reckon could easily fit 10 or so, but there were just 2 of us when we went so one of the 4 person ones was fine.

Food

Food was just fantastic, I ate in the bar this time round but I have eaten in the restuarant before and it was quality too. Clearly the chef is Italian based on some of the menu content but there is something for everyone. It is possibly the biggest selection on any bar menu I have ever seen. Philstine that I am I had a burger!!! which was excellent. My partner went a bit more high class with the Carbonara for which she was able to chose the type of pasta (she chose penne). I say its not pasta unless its spaghetti!!

Drink

Well as I'm tea total all I can say is that Parkheads finest Bru was up to its usual high standards.

Service

Service was good and quick especially when paying. I hate it when you get the bill and then they take ages to come and get your money.

Price

The bar menu to me if anything looks quite cheap for what you get, which is fresh food freshly cooked, in comparison to some of the microwaved meals that some places try and give you...

Overall

8/10 the only down side is finding the place as it's at the far end of Bath Street in a basement near this Kings Theatre...but find it. I think you may enjoy it too.
