Atmosphere

Warm and friendly.

Food

Excellent and freshly prepared. The mussels in tomato and garlic sauce were delicious, the sauce rich and full of flavour. The king prawns were firm and juicy, cooked just before they arrived at the table. The fantastic smells wafting from the kitchen stimulated the appetite and we definitely knew the food was being cooked to order. The other diners were all obviously happy with their meals.

Drink

We tried a Spanish white wine recommended by the restaurant which we had never heard of. It was fresh, fruity and worth the Ł16.50 asking price.

Overall

We were visiting Glasgow for the first time for one night and had no idea where to go to eat that provided both good value for money AND good food. The great reviews this restaurant has received on this website led us to somewhere we would never have found ourselves. Well worth the Ł3 cab journey from the City Centre. Highly recommended.
