Atmosphere

The restaurant is cosy, with nice decor, however the staff are not the friendliest. We were made to feel uncomfortable and felt as though we were rushed over our meal, in order to keep the money-machine running, which does not create the ideal setting.

Food

The food was faultless, however the atmosphere and service overshadowed this.

Service

Our pre-booked table was given away prior to our timely arrival,we learned this further to being "almost" led to our table and then left standing in the middle of the restaurant. We were eventually seated at a table which was meant for another party, this became apparent when the Manager glanced frequently in our direction and held whispered conversations with his staff. We were then asked to move to another table, in the midst of our meal, without a hint of an apology, just an attitude that we were being done a great favour in being offered a complimentary drink. Our desserts, coffee and ouzu were brought together, leaving us no time to finish our wine or our desserts before the coffee grew cold. We were not offered the complimentary drinks, and had to ask for them on several occasions, along with fresh coffees. On leaving the restaurant there was no apology, goodbye or thank you for your custom.

Price

The bill arrived with an extra £4.00 added to the menu price of the meze we had ordered. Could this, perhaps, cover the cost of our complimentary drinks?

Overall

Delicious food coupled with the worst service I have ever experienced.
